Obituary Ken “Fred” Shepard, passed away in the early hours of February, 9th, 2020 while at his weekend respite near Heskell, TN. Ken is predeceased by his parents Beatrice & George Shepard. He is survived by his wife, Jan; sons, David and Zachary; step-children, James and Stacey and countless friends he made across the country during his time as a long-distance truck driver for a national firm. Ken, a longtime resident of Bowie from its more modest beginnings when the first houses went up attended Rockledge Elementary, West Nottingham Academy and Graduated from Bowie High. He then attended Lincoln Technical Institute to study HVAC. Ken was a familiar face at many homes for more than 15 years with Belair Engineering in Bowie. He was known by his boyhood nickname “Fred”, a name that would stick with him throughout his life. He touched many lives during his time with us, helping more than his fair share to the best he was able at every opportunity. His family will be holding an intimate ceremony at an undisclosed location in Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held at Houligan’s Pub & Grille 1725 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32114 on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 11am-2pm. The family asks for your prayers during this difficult time.
