JULIA’s Obituary Julia M. Hazel, 95 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Wednesday February 12, 2020 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. She was born June 6, 1924 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late James and Carmella (neé Raymondo) Cerruto and was a lifelong resident of Lake County, IL. On August 4, 1946 she married Leroy W. Hazel in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2002. Survivors include two sons: Andrew (Eileen) Hazel and Ken (Jackie) Hazel; a grandson William (Brandi) Hazel; a great-grandson Alex; a sister Lillian Pasakowski; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Julia was preceded in death by a son William, two sisters Jenny (Frank) Cassiello and Arlene (Peter) Carrera, and a brother-in-law Johnny Pasakowski. Funeral Services will be held 5:00PM Sunday February 16, 2020 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with visitation beginning at 2:00PM.
