Obituary Judith Sandra “Sandy” North, age 70, of Venice, Florida and formerly of Union, Ohio, passed away on February 7, 2020 in Venice. She was born on February 15, 1949 in Union, Ohio to the late John T. and Christine (Hammond) Courtney. Judith was a 1967 graduate of Northmont High School in Englewood, Ohio. She loved Bingo, VFW events, trips to the Boat to gamble, and especially spending time with her family and friends. She worked at Burgins Pizza, Cassano’s Pizza and Odd Lots in Englewood and several different Dollar General stores. Along with her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her husband, Herschell L. North and siblings Russell Courtney and Dianne Courtney. She is survived by her loving children Sheila (Chris) Bowling of West Milton, Ohio and Jason (Carmen) North of Venice, Florida; grandchildren Heather, Sandra, Christopher, Leah, Dustin, Tommy, Curtis, Tyler, Jason, Jr., and Emilee; 6 great-grandchildren; and sisters Dessie Cloud, Denise Shellenberger, and April Stine; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton, Ohio, with burial to follow at Minnich Cemetery, Union.
