Joyce’s Obituary Joyce Plant Joyce Plant, age 69, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Plant was born June 18, 1950 in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana. She was retired Food Services Coordinator with the Texarkana Arkansas School District. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading and cooking a meal for her family and friends. Mrs. Plant had a servant’s heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. The most important part of Joyce’s life was spending time with her daughter, sister, grandchildren and great grandchildren which was one of the greatest joys in her life. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Rainwater. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jeff Dawson of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Larry Plant of Genoa, Arkansas, three grandchildren and one grandson-in-law, Stormie and Kevin Sanders of Fouke, Arkansas, Jacob Dawson of Genoa, Arkansas, and Alley Dawson of Genoa, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, Remington Dawson, Dakota Dawson, Cayden Dawson, Shelby Sanders, Elizabeth Sanders, Gauge Sanders and Hunter Sanders and a host of friends and other relatives. A memorial Service for Mrs. Plant will be 4:00 P. M. Monday, March 2, 2020 at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas with Rev. Michael Maudlin officiating.
