Obituary Joseph D’Angelo Somerset- Joseph D’Angelo, 78, died peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at home with his loving family. Son of the late Salvatore and Carmella D’Angelo, Joe was born in Brooklyn and lived there for most of his life before moving to Renaissance at Raritan Valley in Somerset 15 years ago. Joe leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 53 years, Elizabeth “Betty” (Conaty) D’Angelo of Somerset; children, Deidre Canellas and husband, James of Midland Park, NJ, Nancy D’Angelo of Brooklyn; cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Amanda; brothers, Edward D’Angelo and wife, Marie of Staten Island, and George D’Angelo and wife, Sally of Staten Island. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6-9 PM, Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 9AM on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a 10 AM Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church in South Bound Brook. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 122 High Street, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.
