John’s Obituary John M. Zolocsik, age 68 of Beyer, died on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in 1951 in Punxsutawney to Michael and Bertha Zaczyk Zolocsik. John was employed as a maintenance foreman and truck driver for 43 years for Marion Center Supply LLC. Previously, he was self-employed milk truck driver and also worked for Wood Pontiac Chevrolet in Plumville. He loved to hunt, garden, cook, wood working and wood crafting, helping on the family farm and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed making wine and brandy. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Gay Reedy Zolocsik, Beyer; one son – Daniel J. Zolocsik and fiancĂ©e Michelle Ortz, Indiana; one brother and two sisters – Michael Zolocsik and his wife Rebecca, Beyer; Marian Stockdale and husband Tim, Dayton; Betty Ann Sloop and husband Fred, Oakridge, TN; four grandchildren – Alex Thomas, Brayden and Zachary Zolocsik; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew Michael Zolocsik. A private family viewing and service will be held at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. Read More
