John’s Obituary John L. Trow, 85, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was born on June 12, 1934, in Chicago IL to Walter and Lillian Trow. John graduated from Freedom High School, Class of 1952. Within a year of graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he was aboard the ship U.S.S. O’Bannon. Upon his honorable discharge in 1957, John returned to Freedom, WI. He had a long career in the trucking industry working in the offices, retiring from Schneider National. After retirement, John found a second career at Lubenow Companies where he was a mentor to Darrell, the owner. He valued the work he did and the relationships he made. John married Margaret Mathison and had three children. He then married Judy Heuser on November 27, 1992. Prior to meeting Judy, John received the gift of a heart transplant in June of 1991 which allowed him to enjoy a long life. He was an avid golfer and an Arizona snowbird. John also enjoyed bowling, spending time on his John Deere lawnmower and playing cribbage. John was a family man who valued every second spent with them. John was a man of faith and a devoted member of Incarnation Lutheran Church. He enjoyed volunteering, ushering, and serving on the church board. John is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Sheri (Jim) McNabb, Julie (Todd) Grenier, and Christine (Bryan) Cody; step-children, Christine (Steven) Oswald and Eric (Carol) Heuser; grandchildren, Katie (Luke), Michael, Jake, Nicholas, Grayson, Alex, Kiley, Faith, Madeline, and Ashley; his sisters, Joyce Keeling and Patricia Bald; brother-in-law, Fred Polzin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Bonnie Polzin; his in-laws; two brothers-in-law, Jack Keeling and Tom Bald; and the mother of his children, Margaret Sandifer. Visitation will take place at Incarnation Lutheran Church, 2071 Ninth St., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, February 10; followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Rev.
