Obituary John Joseph Sieve, 71 of Boone, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. John was born December 27, 1948, in Carroll, Iowa the son of Duane and Mary (Klocke) Sieve. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Marines Corps serving until his honorable discharge in 1971. John worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad as an engineer for 31 ½ years, retiring in 2003.
