JOHN “OL JOHN” HAMMON 9/14/1920-11/23/2009 John “Ol John” Hammon quietly passed on Nov. 23, 2009. “Ol John” lived life to his fullest. There wasn’t a harder working man than “Ol John”. If anyone ever needed a helping hand he was always there in full support with tools in one hand and harmonica in the other. He was proud of his Naval career and never hesitated to join social organizations. He was a life member of the NRA and City of Chico 1992 Senior Man of the Year. He is predeceased by his wife Doris and leaves behind loving family and good friends. He will be missed dearly!! Per Ol John’s request there will be no services.
