Jim’s Obituary Jim L. Davis, 71, of Amarillo died Saturday February 15, 2020. Funeral Service will be 10 Am Thursday February 20, officiated by Eddie Chance. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Jim was born February 11, 1949 in Borger to Dorothy and Henry Davis. He was a kind and caring individual who loved to make people smile and laugh. Jim was involved in competition dancing and was a talented artist. Mr. Davis was a proud veteran who served in the Navy. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Jim married the love of his life; Brenda, were they shared 24 wonderful years together. Mr. Davis Loved to cruise the streets in his convertible Chrysler Sebring with the top down. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and four brothers. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Charlyn Sims and her husband Tyler, three sons; Steve Davis and his wife Jamie, Chris Eason and his wife Jennifer, and James bowling and his wife Cara, and twelve grandchildren.
