Jesse A. Lewis, 83, of Magnolia, AR passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Wentworth Place in Magnolia. Jesse was born June 29, 1936 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to the late Ebber Adair and Lee Modell (Ferguson) Lewis. He was a lifelong farmer who loved to hunt and fish. He was loved by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Talmadge, Jerry, Alton, Billy Nolan, and Bobby Dale Lewis; and sister Shirley Fair. Jesse is survived by his brothers Marvin Lewis and wife Ann of Ivan, LA, Delmar Ray Lewis and wife Debbie of Benton, LA, Curtis Lewis and wife Mary of Magnolia; sisters in law Ava Jo Lewis and Betty Lewis of Springhill, LA; a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Lewis Chapel with Rev. Wayne Edwards officiating and assisted by Ricky Barnard and Rodney Chambers . Burial will follow at the Waldo Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Friday, December 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Lewis, Jeff Lewis, Eric Lewis, Justin Lewis, and Ronald Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Harrison, Chance Lewis, and Austin Lewis.
