Jean Perry’s Obituary Mrs. Jean Perry Barber, age 92 of Franklin died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care in Scottsville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Crafton Funeral Home where services will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2pm with burial to follow in Harrell Cemetery in Allen County. A native of Sumner County Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Reeder Alderson and Zettie Mae Hinson Alderson. She was a cosmetologist and owned and operated the former Beauty Center in Franklin. Mrs. Barber was a member of Smyrna Church. She was preceded in death by her husband – Hillous Perry – 3 brothers – Eldon B. Alderson, Edward Lee Alderson and Bobby Alderson; step son – Jimmy Loyd Barber (wife – Mary Linda resides in Panama City, Florida). Survivors include her husband – Loyd Barber of Franklin; 1 son – Reed Perry (Lycrecia) of Scottsville; 1 step daughter – Diane Barber Miller (Jim) of Bethpage, TN; 1 brother – Jerry Alderson of Franklin; 1 sister – Linda Billiot of Louisiana; sister in law – Charlen Mahaney of Allen County; 1 granddaughter – Jane Ann Vincent (Ryan) of Owensboro; 2 great grandchildren – Kate Vincent & Perry Vincent; 4 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3pm until 8pm Saturday and after 6am Sunday at Crafton Funeral Home.
