Janice Lucille Jones October 25, 1956 – February 15, 2020 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Janice Lucille Jones, age 63, of Mayville passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Stonegate Health Campus, Lapeer. Janice was born October 25, 1956 in Lapeer to the late Cortney and Charlotte (Irons) Clark. Janice worked as a cashier at Wingert’s Food Center for many years. She married James Jones in December 2010 and he preceded her in death in May 2019. Janice enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading, cooking, baking, crafts of many kinds and spending time with her dogs, Baby and Lady. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Janice is survived by her children, Henry (Shelby) Clark, Jose (Samantha) Clark, Jolanda (Sean) McConnell, Jimmy (Ashley) Jones, Peggy (Joe) Robinson, Donny Ortiz, Wesley Jones and Chris Ortiz; nineteen grandchildren; her brother, Max Clark; and her sister, Janet Jones. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Friday, February 21, 2020 at Dayton Center Church, 3633 Phelps Lake Rd., Silverwood with Pastor Dave Wilson officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place in Arcadia Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
