Janice Lee (Anderson) Garner, 54 of Indian Head, MD, passed away on February 20, 2020 at University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center, La Plata, MD. Born on June 30, 1965 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Martha Bateman Anderson and the late Richard Lee Anderson. Janice was a wife and mother. She loved music, camping, river floats, long walks and trips to Deep Creek Lake. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Orioles fan. She loved spending time with family. Her greatest love was being a mother. In addition to her mother, Janice is survived her husband of 25 years, Joseph “Mark” Garner, three children; Eugene Raymond Garner and his wife Jade, Joseph Wolfgang Garner and Briana Lee Garner, three sisters; Barbara Cook and her husband Marshall, Anne Martin-Morgan and Mary Windsor and her husband Joseph, mother and father in-law, Joseph and Elsie Garner and a sister in-law Laura Ann Drinks. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at St. James Episcopal Church, 7 E Potomac Avenue, Indian Head, MD from 11:00AM until time of Life Celebration at 11:30AM a reception will follow in the church hall immediately following the service. Flowers can be delivered to the hall on Saturday morning. Should friends desire, condolences and contributions to the Garner family can be left in a card box at the hall.
