Janet’s Obituary Janet L. Hevel, age 70 of Alma, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at home. She was born September 23, 1949 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Mark and Martha (Dockham) Waldron. Janet graduated from Carson City Crystal High School in 1967. In 1972 she married Robert F. Hevel and they made their home and raised their two children, Frank and Patricia in Carson City. Janet moved to Alma in 2016 to be closer to her beloved sister and best friend Sue. While on the phone with each other, Janet and Sue, watched wrestling together every week. She also enjoyed making quilts & embroidering, Disney movies, Nascar – Jeff Gordon was her favorite, listening to Toby Keith and westerns especially with John Wayne. She is survived by: her children, Frank (Linda) Hevel of Barryton and Patricia (Jesse) Nadasky of Alma; twelve siblings, Kathy Bird, Judy (Doug) Shattuck, Ron, Terry (Rose), Sue (Ray) Johnson, Penny (Russ) Corey, Art (Sue), Chris and Dave Waldron. Janet was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert; her parents, Mark and Martha; an infant brother, Frank Waldron and sisters, Leona and Carol Waldron. A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Barryton Church of Christ, 18221 30th Avenue. Interment will be at Carson City Cemetery.
