Obituary James H. Kittrell, Jr., known to family and friends as Jim, a resident of Niceville, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020, after years of battling heart disease and cancer. Jim was an electrician by trade but loved to preach, sing, and play the guitar for the Lord. He was a member of the Niceville Community Church in Niceville, Florida. Next to family, he loved his little dogs. Jackson, in fact, was like a son to him for 15 years. After Jackson came the new bunch in which Gypsy was his favorite. He is preceded in death by his parents, James H. and Dorothy Louise Kittrell and one sister, Lisha Kittrell Freeman. James is survived by his loving wife, Helen Kittrell, who cared for him throughout all his battles; four children, Sabrina Ann Kittrell, Angelique C. Delone, Nina Epsey, and Joshua Davidson Croxton; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Gaily and Karen Jean Miller (Chris); three nephews, Mark and Mike Gaily and Buddy Miller; many great nieces and nephews; and friends. Jim will be greatly missed by all. Philippians 4:7 tells us: God’s peace…is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Niceville Community Church beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Cecil Bryant and Brother William Nester officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of Ft. Walton Beach.
