We unexpectedly lost our father, brother, and grandfather, James E. Logsdon on Saturday February 22, 2020 at the age of 88. James was born on May 15, 1931. He was a retired self employed mechanic who loved racing and watching Nascar. He love his family and friends as they all loved him. He enjoyed getting out and taking a Sunday drive reminiscing, lunch with family on Sundays and on occasion visiting French Lick Casino and Live! James is survived by his daughters, Sue Logsdon, Linda (Dean) Gresham, son James Robert Logsdon, granddaughter, Lindsay Dawn Gresham, brother, Robert Logsdon and sister Nancy Young as well as many nieces and nephews. James was predeceased in death by his loving wife, Lorene Logsdon, father Jim Logsdon, mother, Nannie Lee Logsdon,brothers, George E. Snapp, infant Johnny Logsdon, sisters, Nora Mae Young, Evelyn Miller, and Helen Armstrong. James’ family will receive friends on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 11am to 1pm at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington. A private family service will be held at a later time at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
