James Clyde Lavish, 76, of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on January 31, 2020 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton. Born on October 5, 1943 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Andrew and Marjorie Lavish. Mr. Lavish served in the U. S. Navy and later worked for the U. S. Postal Service as a Carrier until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors and attending Life Stream and Our Lady Help of Christians Churches. Mr. Lavish is survived by his sons Andrew and Timothy Lavish; daughter Bridget Lavish; brother Kenneth Lavish. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 9AM until time of service at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow at Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O.
