Obituary J. Elaine Hoffman, 82, of 467 Fairground Rd., Millmont, entered into rest at 1:45 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2020, at 1070 Canada Dr., Millmont. She was born June 6, 1937, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Elaine was one of eleven children of Earl and Hazel Kimes. On January 19, 1957, she married Robert L. Hoffman, Jr., who preceded her in death February 14, 2020. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year. Elaine was selfless and devoted herself to her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping at Boscov’s, and cooking. Elaine was an enthusiastic lottery player and often discussed what would happen if she won big. She loved chocolate and was known for her insatiable sweet tooth. She worked for seven years as a cashier at True Value hardware store in Mifflinburg, but spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her husband, son, granddaughters, and great grandsons. Surviving is one son, Brian K. Hoffman of Millmont; three granddaughters, Porsche Anslinger of Hampton, VA., Bianca Hoffman of Millmont, and Elena Hoffman of West Chester, PA; two grandsons, Lukas Anslinger, and Trenton Anslinger; and three sisters, Betty Beecher, Hazel Dynesko, and Evelyn Helm, all of Coatesville. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond, Everett, Richard, and Donald Kimes; and three sisters, Marjorie Mattson, Shirley Lake, and Connie Kimes. A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at11:00 a.m., Friday, February 28, 2020 at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery in Coatesville.
