Irene Villarreal, long time resident of Warren, was received into the loving arms of Jesus and her loving husband Leopoldo on Wednesday evening in William Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak at the age of 93. Irene was born in Marion Texas, on June 28, 1926, the daughter of Diego and Pilair Rodriguez. She went to work with her parents in a laundry mat at a young age and also worked as a beautician in her younger age. She met and married her loving husband Leopoldo and had worked for the General Motors Corporation’s Interior division as a sewer hand stitching seats, and was so good at it that they promoted her to the job of Inspector. Irene loved her Church and her Church friends, always put her family first , enjoyed sewing, traveling and gardening. She was awarded the Beautification Award for the City of Warren. She was a kind and giving person and took pride in her giving always inviting people in for her fine Mexican food. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Irene is survived by her loving Sister Raquel Ramarez; her grandchildren, Andrea Lynn Kanakry, Michael (Jessica) Kanakry, Jenna Nola, and Tnya Mitchell; her loving great grandchildren, Sandra, Angel, Leopoldo, Marley Lynn, Alina Lynn, Taylor, Skylar, Mikie, Maximus, Logan and Ashlyn and by her great great grandchildren, Kamila Irene, and Asaylia Irene . She was preceded in death by many siblings. Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Wednesday from 2pm til 8pm and Thursday from 10am til time of funeral services at 11am.
