Obituary Benson, NC: Mr. Hunter Mark Denning, age 59, of Benson Hardee Road, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at UNC Rex Health Care in Raleigh. A Memorial Service will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Glenn McCullen and James Harrelson. Mr. Denning was born December 8, 1960 in Harnett County to the late Joseph “Joe” Edward and Barbara Jean Whittington Denning. He was a farmer and owner of Turkey Creek Ranch and Rodeo. Surviving include his wife of 38 years, Pamela Denning; son, Hunter Denning and wife, Kristan of Benson; grandchildren, Waylon Mark Denning, Aubree Bruce Denning and Lillie Hunter Denning; brothers and sisters, Jo Carol Hudson and husband, Keith of Benson, Max Denning and wife, Sheila of Benson, Jean Ellen Beasley and husband, Tommy of Benson and Joseph Andrew Denning and wife, Leslie of Newton Grove; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Southeastern Junior Bull Rider Association, 728 Old Stubbs Road, Cherryville, NC 28021 or Narrow Trail Cowboy Church, 205 Montague Road, Angier, NC 27501.
