Hubert’s Obituary Hubert Burnell Prine, 88, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at 10:18 AM at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour, IN. Hubert was born in Independence Co., AK on Saturday, September 10, 1932 to Buster and May (Inman) Prine, who both preceded him in death. On Tuesday, August 21, 1951, Hubert married Jacquelyn R. (Conway) Prine, who preceded him in death. Hubert was an auctioneer and owner and operator of his own truck driving company. He attended the Church of The Lord Jesus Christ in Crothersville, IN. He loved to talk, converse, communicate, and visit with others. Hubert is survived by his 4 children, Dennis Prine of Crothersville, IN, Terry (Barb) Prine of Uniontown, IN, Randy (Susan) Prine of Seymour, IN, and Kim (David) Johnson of Seymour, IN, 5 grandchildren, Katrina (David) Payne, Amanda (Sam) Peters, Rebecca Wheeler, Renae (Evan) Gaffney, and Renda (David) Woodruff, 10 great grandchildren, Aerial (Jordan) White, Nicholas Gibson, Skylar Gibson, Bryce Peters, Kyla Peters, Destiny Lawrence, Faith Lee, Jase Holt, Nicholas Johnson, and Emily Gaffney, 3 great-great grandchildren, Kaydence Wilson, Issabella Gibson, and Gracelyn Spaulding, 3 brothers, Jimmie Prine of AK, Burrell (Della) Prine of Indianapolis, IN, and James (Stephanie) Prine of AK. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jacquelyn, and 1 brother, Hershel Prine. Friends, family, and the public are invited to share in celebrating Hubert’s life during a graveside service and burial of his cremains to be held at 3:00 PM on February 8, 2020 at Uniontown Cemetery with Jeff Matthews officiating.
