Henry J. Homza died Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his home in Warren, NJ. He was 100 years old. Henry was born in Newark, NJ living in Clark, NJ before moving to Warren in 1960. Henry graduated from Seton Hall University with a BA in 1941, and entered the United States Army to serve during WWII invading Normandy Beach and served through 1946. He studied Law and took classes after his return from the Army. He worked as a Corporate Accountant for Wilber B. Driver Company in Newark, NJ for over 45 years until he retired in 1984. Henry had a passion for golf and was a member at Fox Hollow Country Club playing with friends into is late 80’s. He was pre deceased by his wife Marion (Remeika) Homza in 2007, his brothers Andrew and John Homza, and his sisters Anna Salzman, Josephine Homza and Ella Crecca. Henry is survived by his son H. Michael Homza and his wife Gail Truppi-Homza, and three grandchildren Henry Homza and his wife Katie, Kirsten Homza and Joseph Homza. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Stirling.
