Gary’s Obituary Gary Wayne Sloan, 66, of Paragould went to be with the Lord on Monday February 3, 2020 at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Gary was born in Aurora, Illinois on September 2, 1953 to Wesley and Evailee Robertson Crabtree. Gary lived in Paragould most of his life and was a member of the Church of God Church. Gary loved to travel all over the world and Europe with the Gaithers and The Happy Goodman family. Music was Gary life and he was a man of many talents. Gary was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Erin Dowdy and his dog Butch. Survived by his wife, Joyce Sloan of the home. Step father, Wesley and mother, Evailee Crabtree. Stepson, Tim Gilliam of Marmaduke. Step-daughters, Cindy Dowdy and Julie Rainwater (Allen) both of Paragould. Brothers, Jack Davis (Peggy) of St. Louis, Missouri and Gary Crabtree of Paragould. Sister, Jan Sanguinette of St. Louis, Missouri. Sister in law, Mary Grimsley of Paragould, and one niece, Michelle Pritchett (Dolph) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Four grandchildren, Three great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday February 6, 2020 in Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Mansfields and Kevin Standley officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery with Mitchell Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 5, 2020 from 7-9:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Matt Garmrath, Danny Hall, JB Brown, David Dennison, Allen Rainwater and Pepe Sanchez.
