Gary Beaver was born in Austin, TX on September 16, 1961 and has resided around the Elgin area for much of his life. After attending Elgin High School, he went to trade school and studied electonics. Eventually he started his own business, Legendary Painting, and returned to Elgin TX where he raised his daughter, Rachel, the joy of his life. He moved to Port Lavaca TX 11 years ago where he could spend his retirement years near the gulf coast. He enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, woodworking, and most of all spending time with his daughter and two grandchildren. Gary Beaver is predeceased by his infant son, Robert Allen Beaver; parents, Robert & Katherine Beaver, of Elgin; He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Beaver Foreaker, of Elgin; 2 grandchildren Carlie and Jaxson Foreaker, of Elgin; 1 brother, Richard Beaver (and Ella Boswell); 2 sisters, Belinda Ambrose (and Gary Cooke) and Karen Prinz (and Don Hyatt); and several neices and nephews; Viewing will be availabler at Providence Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20th until 5pm. Graveside services will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Austin on Friday, February 21st at 2pm Print Obituary
