Sacco age 79 of Plattsmouth, NE was born June 12, 1940 in Omaha to Sam and Grace (Pattavina) Sacco. He passed away on February 11, 2020 in Papillion, NE. Fred was raised in south Omaha and attended South High School. Following High School, he served in the United States Army from August 1959 until August of 1962. On September 5, 1964 he was united in marriage to Patricia Harder in Omaha, Nebraska. Together they raised three children, Angel, Patty and Fred. Fred enjoyed being an entrepreneur, he owned a gas station, a bar (Sacco’s) and a car lot. Cars were his favorite pastime. He also kept busy with animals and woodworking. He is survived by wife, Pat Sacco of Plattsmouth, children, Angel Sacco of Omaha, Patty (Curt) Krueger of Plattsmouth, Fred A. Sacco of Omaha, 4 grandchildren Alex Jankowski, Gillian Krueger, Lauren and David Foster, 2 gr. Grandchildren Lucille and Harrison; brother Joe (Mary Pat) Sacco of Bellevue and sister Nellie (Dick) Merrill of Omaha. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Grace. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 AM. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Bud Bunn officiating There will be no visitation. Burial will be held at a later date at the Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Plattsmouth Firefighters Assn or Nebraska Humane Society.
