Frances’ Obituary Mrs. Frances Sohoza, born February 15, 1920, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma Moore. She was married to Ernest Sohoza in September of 1940. This union was blessed with nine children. Her husband preceded her in death in June, 2006, as did her youngest son, Phillip, in 2012. Fran was a life-long resident of Belleville and member of St. Anthony’s. She enjoyed her life as a housewife and mother, and was a loving wife to Ernie. She was always greatful for the life she was given. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. She enjoyed crocheting and reading. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Timothy (Sharon) Sohoza, Teresa (Robert) Allen, Carol (Mike) Hardesty, Irene Sloan, Yvonne (Ron) Slone, Andrew (Kelly) Sohoza, Edward Sohoza and Matthew Sohoza; 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of devoted nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Drotar (age 96) and brother Paul Moore (age 92). Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday at David C. Brown Funeral Home, 460 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, MI 48111 (734)697-4500. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 409 W. Columbia Ave., Belleville, MI. The family will greet guests at church 10-11 AM. Father John Kiselica will serve as Celebrant. Entombment will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
