Frances’ Obituary Frances Louise Stewart 100 of Monon passed away on February 4, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Born on March 7, 1919 in Wabash, Indiana to the late Henry(Rosa Hipskind) Stouffer. She was a graduate of Wabash High School. Frances married Marvin Stewart October 30, 1945, she also served as a Nurse in the U.S. Navy. Frances and Marvin came to Monon in 1954, where they owned and operated the Stewart Funeral Home until there retirement in 1987, she was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church and the current literature club, Frances enjoyed staying active in her church and helping with her grandchildren and family through the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Marvin, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. Survived by sons; Michael(Svetlana) Stewart, Stanley Stewart, grandchildren; Brad(Heather), Ryan(Christa), Chris(Allison), as well as 6 loving great grandchildren. A visitation for Frances will be held on Friday February 7, 2020 from 4-8 PM(EST) in the Frazier Funeral Home Chapel 507 N. Market Street Monon, Indiana 47959, funeral services will be held Saturday February 8, 2020 at 2 PM in the Frazier Funeral Home Chapel 507 N. Market Street with burial to follow in the Bedford Cemetery. Frances will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
