Evangelina’s Obituary Evangelina “Eva” Velez Jones, 92, passed away on January 2, 2020 in Riverside, California. She was born in San Angelo, Texas to Ventura and Maria Velez. She was a loving mother and grandmother and spent many years taking care of her family. She enjoyed gardening, and she was known as a prayer warrior. Eva is survived by her daughters Connie Jones, Deanna Jones, Gilda Cisneros, and Brenda Sereno. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren John, Joey, Melissa, Jackie, Rudy, Richard, Leah, Sammy, Robert and Rodney. She was great grandmother to 17.
