Obituary Emma Nottingham, age 83, of Hardinsburg, Ky died on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky. She was born in Mook, Ky on August 10, 1936 to the late Levi Armes and Pearl Vertrees Armes. Emma was of the Methodist faith and had previously attended both Fairview and Westview Churches. She was retired after having worked many years as a cook at Rough River State Park. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and growing flowers. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Nottingham; a brother, Charles Armes, son, Ernie Nottingham and a grandson, Lonnie Nottingham. She is survived by 2 sons: Steve Nottingham and his wife, Christy, of Ekron, Ky Ronnie Nottingham and his wife, Judy of Harned, Ky 1 Brother – Kenneth Armes of Harned, Ky 1 Sister – Wanda Kennedy of Harned, Ky 3 Grandchildren: Angela Henning, Amy Nottingham Rucker and Austin Nottingham 2 Great-Grandchildren: Mikeal Aldridge and Hudson Rucker Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 4-8 PM and Tuesday after 8 AM Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery Memorial Contributions may be made to: Fairview Cemetery To send flowers to Emma’s family, please visit our floral section.
