Elsie Marie Wroblewski, 78, of Bayonne, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Elsie was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived on Staten Island for many years before settling in Bayonne 22 years ago. Elsie’s outgoing personality and genuine interest in others allowed her to make friends wherever she went. She had a natural talent for sewing and crocheting various types of blankets to beautify her home. In her leisure time she enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elsie was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary (Konczal) Bensen, and her son-in-law Pedro Malave. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 60 years, William Wroblewski, her daughter Ann Mary Malave, her sons, Tom Wasielewski and his wife Julie, Jerry Wasielewski, and six brothers and three sisters. A private cremation was held at Rosehill Crematory. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at the funeral home to honor Elsie on Monday, March 2, from 5:00 to 7pm.
