Ellen Norlean Wilcox age 85 of Mena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Mena. Ellen was born on February 28, 1934 in Big Fork, Arkansas to the late William Daniel Burkhart and the late Martha Ellen Crawford Burkhart. She was married to Troy Lee Wilcox until his passing. Ellen enjoyed cooking as her profession. Ellen was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from Rich Mountain Manor. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by: Daughters: Carolyn Watkins of Star City, Arkansas Sherlyn Allen of Mena, Arkansas Elizabeth Watts of Mena, Arkansas Patti Criner of Farmington, Arkansas Teresa Wilcox of Mena, Arkansas Son: James Bain, Jr. of Mena, Arkansas Many grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Burkhart, and husband Troy Lee Wilcox. Graveside services will be Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Board Camp Cemetery with T.J. Criner officiating under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
