Obituary Elizabeth H. Yoder-Wheeler, 89, of Navarre, passed away quietly, in the company of her family Tuesday afternoon, February 18, 2020. Born September 20, 1930, in Mount Pleasant Ohio, a daughter to the late John and Ruth (King) Marchbank, Beth graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She continued her formal education and became a licensed beautician and cosmetologist. As the owner-operator of the former Glamorette Beauty Salon, she served clients out of her own home for more than twenty years. At the same time she had been employed by Superior Meats and retired after 25 years of service. A devoted mom and grandma, Beth had been a faithful member of Fohl Memorial United Methodist Church. She chose to live simply and privately, enjoying her garden, the company of her family, especially her grandchildren and a few close friends. Preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jeffrey and Jay Yoder; a daughter-in-law, Geneva Yoder; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; Beth is survived by her children, Joyce Yoder-Halleck and her husband, Henry Halleck III, of Lake Spivey, Georgia and Joel M. Yoder, of Hartville, Ohio. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Henry Halleck IV (and fiancée Alicia Bille), of Scottsdale, Arizona, Alexandra Halleck (and fiancé David Lineback), of Atlanta, Georgia, Jeffrey Yoder, of Hartville, Raymond Yoder of Peachtree City, Georgia and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alison Malboeuf (Yoder), also of Peachtree City and several nieces and nephews. Honoring Beth’s wishes, a private funeral and burial with Pastor Carl Kandel officiating will be conducted Saturday, February 22, 2020. Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Navarre has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
