Obituary Elaine B. Haines, 92, of Charleroi, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020. Born on November, 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emily (Zinsius) Behrendt. She retired after 23 years with Telecommunications, Inc. Elaine sang for 67 years in the choir of First Christian Church of Charleroi and was a life member and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Monessen chapter. Survived by son Eric and daughter-in-law Kathryn Gibson, sister-in-law Phila Behrendt of Bishop, CA, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pat and Jack Jones of Charleroi and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry J. (Hank) Haines and brother Robert Behrendt. Interment private. A public celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church of Charleroi.
