Obituary Edwin Speck, 90, of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully at the Fry Village, Middletown on Saturday, February 1, 2020. He was born February 1, 1930 to the late Allen and Florence Speck. He is predeceased by his loving wife Caroline H. (Deck) Speck since 2016. Edwin was a proud Army veteran who served in the Korean war and was stationed in Japan. He was also an avid church member who enjoys hunting, watching sports, and spending mornings at the Filling Station with his friends. Most importantly he was a loving father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his son: Dennis J. Speck, Sr. and wife Karolynne Joy; grandchildren, Dennis Speck, Jr. and Denelle Speck; five great grandchildren; and sister, Barb Gingrich. He is predeceased by his siblings, Grace Kline, Leroy Speck, Clara Jane, Moses. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 1PM at the St. John’s United Methodist Church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville, PA 17028. A time of viewing will be held from noon until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
