Obituary On February 14, 2020, Edward Airey Sr, loving husband and father of two, passed away at age 74. Edward Robert Airey, Sr was born on January 25, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to Herbert and Elenora Airey. He had an older brother Danny, and three sisters Geraldine, Bernadette and Linda. On October 7, 1967,he married Elaine LeBrun. They raised two children, Christine and Edward Jr. Ed was a veteran of four years in the Navy where he was a Helmsman on the USS Lake Champlain and USS Independence. He had a passion of making people laugh with his quick wit. He loved the outdoors, going camping and boating with his family. He enjoyed taking cruises with his wife, making models of Eastern Shore’s unique workboats and loved his children and grandchildren Stephen and Dylan visiting. He had a passion of watching the old wild west shows with his faithful dog Daisey on his lap. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church, located 917 Hoopers Island Road, Route 335 Church Creek, MD 21622 at 12 noon with Celebrant Michael Casari. The family will be available at 11am to welcome your condolences.
