Edward F Jones, III, 54 of Ridley Twp, Woodlyn, PA, died Wednesday February 26, 2020. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Margaret (Carroll) Jones, Jr. Ed lived in Woodlyn for the past 25 years, growing up in Folsom. Ed graduated from Ridley High School in 1983. He enjoyed playing and watching hockey, listening to music and attending concerts. Ed loved the outdoors and he owned and operated Jones’ Landscaping. He loved family gatherings, car rides and spending time in Ocean City, NJ. Predeceased by his father Edward F. Jones, Jr. Survived by his wife: Maureen E. (Hopkins) Jones. Stepson, Michael (Michelle) Wajda; stepdaughter, Rebecca (Matthew) Natale and 7 Grandchildren. His mother Margaret (Carroll) Jones, Jr, four sisters: Marianne (Ed) Jefferies, Margie McDermott, Helen (Mark) Stauffer and Maureen (Mike) Estabrook and 10 nieces and nephews who affectionately called him Uncle Baldie Friends may call Wednesday from 9-10:45am at Saint Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA. followed by his funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment will be in EastLawn Cemetery, Milmont Park.
