Earl’s Obituary Earl Wayne Fierge, 67, of Davenport, Florida, formerly of Mexico, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, at his home surrounded by family. Earl’s Family will celebrate his life on Saturday, April 18, at the First Assembly of God Church Hall in Mexico with a visitation starting at 1 p.m. and services following at 3 p.m. Earl was born on July 7, 1952 in Mexico, the son of Russell and Gayle (Dodson) Fierge. In 1979, he married Karen Pugh in Mexico. Mr. Fierge owned and operated Fierge Landscaping, until moving to Florida. He enjoyed taking care of plants and trees and also loved to fish. Earl had attended the United Pentecostal Church in Mexico. He and Karen had served the Boy Scouts as leaders for many years. Survivors include his wife, Karen Fierge of Florida; two daughters, Amy (Scott) Husted of Jefferson City and Amanda (Michael) Doyle of Florida; two sons, Eric (Amanda) Fierge of Thompson and Matthew (Jamie) Fierge of Mesa, Colorado; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; his mother, Gayle Fierge of Mexico; six brothers, Dale (Debbie) Fierge of O’Fallon, J.T. (Donna) Fierge of St. Louis, Jimmy (Robin) Fierge of Liberty, Phillip (Pam) Dodson of Washington, David (Marretta) Fierge of O’Fallon and Kevin (Mel) Fierge of Cahokia, Illinois; and two sisters, Jackie Maxwell of Mexico and Julie Camp of Haines City, Florida. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Russell Fierge; and one son, Cody Hanley. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S.
