In 1965 Doug joined the Air Force and had an illustrious career in the Office of Special Investigations, retiring as a Master Sergeant in September of 1985. He had a successful civilian career in Security and was the Regional VP of Pinkerton Investigations before retiring. People describe Doug as honest and caring. He had a huge and loving heart and would go the extra mile for people. Known as a straight shooter you always knew where you stood with him. His friendships were long and deep as was his sweet tooth. Doug is preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Catherine, and his children, Derek “Drake”, Nikki and Rikki. His wicked sense of humor and love will be missed by his grandchildren, Payton and Colton Baskette, Maddison Morris, Alisha Cormier, Kaden, Kaitlyn and Khloe Acker, Allyson, Ellen and Keaton Brock, Cole, Ella and Grant Fite. And last, but not least, he is survived by his and Connie’s fur baby, Cuba Baskette. Print Obituary
