Donald “Casper” G. Garrison, Sr., 75, of Pittsgrove passed away on February 16, 2020. Born in Swedesboro, Don was the son of George & Maryetta (Brown) Garrison. Throughout his life Don was a truck driver for Owens as well as several other companies in the area. He also drove a bus for Joey’s Tours and, at the time, Glassboro State College. Don served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and he was also a member of FireBaseNamMC, which he was extremely proud of. He also helped out every year putting together the POW Floats for the various parades in the area. He built a home on the family farm, where he grew up, raised his family and continued to work the land over the years. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Baker); his children, Donald Jr. (Kerri), Danny, Scott (Tracy), Paul, James, Ashley and Sandra (Christopher); eleven grandchildren as well as several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Ronald and Jerry. Services will be held this Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Elmer. The viewing will begin at 9:30 AM with the service following at 11 AM.
