Debra Jean McMurtry, 59, of Holts Summit, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. She was born on June 10, 1960 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Willard and Martha (West) Bennett. Debra was a 1978 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter: Tonya Halderman; special friend: Jerry Smith; mother: Martha Gaboldon; sister: Barbara Puckett; brothers: Willard Bennett, Richard Temmen and Duane Gaboldon; grandchildren: Dina Halderman and Dillon Halderman. She was preceded in death by her father: Willard and brother: Steven Temmen. A celebration of Debra’s life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Holts Summit Civic Center. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made to the family of Debra McMurtry.
