Obituary MADISON – Debra Marie Gervasi, age 68, passed away at Meriter Hospital on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was born on August 26, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin to parents, John and Arlene (Bronson) Gervasi. Debra was a 1969 graduate of West High School. She worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice as a criminal records clerk. Outside of work, she loved gardening and spending time with her family, including her beloved dogs, Tasha, Reina and Nala. She was a great cook, as well as baker, and was known for her rice balls that she made every Christmas. Debra will be remembered as a devoted mother with a contagious smile and a wonderful, loud laugh. Debra is survived by her son, Robert Gervasi; siblings, John Gervasi, Gary Gervasi, Sheryl Gervasi, Ted Gervasi, Tammy (Bob) Downing; nieces and nephews, Charles John “CJ” (Melinda) Gervasi, Alison Gervasi, and Ava Downing. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Charlene Gervasi. Debra’s family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful staff of Meriter Hospital, with special thanks to Heidi, Trish, and Dr. Thomas Bugliosi.
