Obituary David L. Campbell, age 69, formerly of East Freedom, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at AristaCare at Hillsdale Park. He was born June 2, 1950 in Denver, Colorado, son of the late John and Doris (Brand) Campbell. Surviving are a son, Mark (Renae) Campbell of Hollidaysburg; two grandchildren: Shannon and Jack Campbell; brother, John (Kathy) Campbell of Carlisle; sister, Jane (Larry) Yingling of Newry; brother, Daniel (Andrea) Campbell of Duncansville; and sister, Lois Campbell of Hollidaysburg. David was a 1968 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. He worked as a construction superintendent for RJ Albarano & Sons most of his career. He was very proud of all the notable projects in the Blair County area he worked on, particularly the Altoona Curve’s stadium. He could not drive by without speaking of it. David touched the lives of many family and friends over the years. He will be sorely missed. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.
