Darlene June Williford, 73, of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2020. She was born on January 31, 1947 in Allentown, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Frank and Doris (Cunningham) Myers. She was united in marriage to LaVern Williford on April 9, 1965 in Monroe Michigan. Darlene was a faithful partner in her husband’s ministry for 42 years. Along with teaching a prayer group each week she taught at Mt. Zion Christian Academy for 30 years. She loved to cook, which is a good thing being a Baptist minister’s wife. She was handy with a needle and enjoyed counted cross stitch. Most of all, she loved her beautiful family and her precious grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Vern Williford; children: Dan Williford (Debra), Cheryl Seipel (Jim), and Dave Williford (Becky); brothers: Frank, Gerald and Ricky Myers; grandchildren: Sarah Williford Jones, Jonathan and Becka Williford, Megan Seipel Mangel, Trenton, Leah, Gaven and Katie Seipel; great-grandchildren: Kambree and Aubree Jones and Ryleigh Williford. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
