Obituary Darel Willman, 70, Verdon, NE, passed away February 6, 2020 at Falls City, NE. He was born February 19, 1949 at Yankton, SD to Martin and Susan (Slagle) Willman. He married Lana Handley on September 26, 1970 at Falls City, NE. Darel was raised at Howard, SD and graduated from Canova High School in 1967. He then worked as a laborer during the construction of Cooper Nuclear Station. He then went to welding school at Tulsa, OK and became a traveling union pipe fitter and traveled the United States for work. He moved back to Verdon in 1978 and he continued pipe fitting and then was a welder for Frontier Trailer Factory and WASP. He was also the greens keeper at Falls City County Club. In 2005 he rejoined the union, retiring in 2010. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local #430. Darel is survived by his wife, Lana of Verdon, sons, Larry and his wife Jennifer of Falls City, Eric and his wife Amy of Owasso, OK, Josh of Omaha, NE, sisters, Sharon Larson of Sioux City, IA, Alice Littrick of Wisconsin, grandchildren, Jaiden, Mia, Garrett and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry, sisters Melva Jeralds and Wilma Jones. A private family graveside will be held at Harris Cemetery.
