Obituary Danny M. Coale, 72, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his home in Wolverine. Dan was born December 25, 1947 in San Diego, California to Lawrence and Elenor (Carrier) Coale. He married Jean Gearhart on August 19, 1967. He served in the US Army from 1969-1971 and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. Upon returning home he finished his education and began teaching and coaching at Wolverine Community Schools. He retired from teaching in 2006. Dan had two very special dogs that he enjoyed, Heidi and Lady. He loved reading and collecting many movies. He enjoyed many hobbies including making jewelry and leather projects. He liked doing building projects with his brothers over the years, especially when he could cut the wood on his sawmill. Most of all, he loved . his family. He enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them what he thought was important. He is survived by his wife Jean; sons, Brandon, and Lincoln (Sarah); two wonderful grandsons Keegan and Finnley, brothers Michael (Janine) Coale, Barney (Yvonne) Coale, Alan (Robin) Coale, and sister Sue Beard, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry. His wishes were to have a private graveside service in the spring. Cards of condolences would be appreciated by his family.
