Obituary Dan Thompson 59 Machesney Park, passed away on February 1, 2020 in his home following a long battle with cancer. Born on September 23, 1960 in Rockford to Lawrence & JoAnne (Bombard) Thompson. Dan married Stephanie M. Noling in Florida on June 6, 2005. He was a tool & die maker for Wiegel Tool Company of Wood Dale, IL. Survivors include his wife Stephanie; step-daughter, Alex Grabow; siblings, Larry Thompson, Patty Yankaitis (Tim); Mike Thompson (Carmen), Christi Sweargener: nieces and nephews; Predeceased by his parents and a step-daughter, Jaclyn Grabow. In lieu of flowers a Thompson Family Benefit will be held on February 23, 2020 from 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m. in the Clifford E. Johnson V.F.W.
