Obituary Dalisa was born May 6, 1962, on Vandenburg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California, to Millon and Angelina Hardison. Surrounded by her loving family, Dalisa (Lisa) transitioned to eternity with her Lord on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020. She was 57 years of age. Lisa graduated from Del Rio High School in Del Rio, Texas, where she was a star track athlete and a Queen City Belle. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas with a baccalaureate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She went on to enjoy a career in banking with Frost Bank until her retirement in 2019. She was a devoted mother to her son, Brian. Among many hobbies, Lisa enjoyed traveling (she loved Canada), cooking (her favorite dish was shrimp fettuccini), dance, movies, keeping up with current events – both on the local and national level, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed experimenting with teas and loved her morning cup of coffee. She loved learning something new and experiencing new things. She was very active in the local autism community and a strong advocate. She was a hardworking, kind, and direct thinker and speaker with admirable class. Lisa had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. During the last months of her life, she attended North Garland Baptist Fellowship. She loved the Lord and her local church. Lisa was a loving and devoted mother, beloved daughter and sister, and cherished friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Millon Hardison. Those left to cherish precious memories include her son, Brian Whatley; her mother, Angelina Hardison; her sisters, Ellistene Curry (Jeffrey) and Marian Miller (Frank); her brother, Melvin Hardison (Gretchen); and a host of extended family and wonderful friends.
