Capitani, 66, of Fort Collins, CO, formerly of Ottawa, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2019, in Loveland, CO. Services and cremation rights have already been accorded. Craig was born on August 11, 1953 in Ottawa to John and Marie (Damyen) Capitani. He was a graduate of Ottawa High School Class of 1971. During his youth he was active in little league and was a member of the 1966 all star team. He played softball in Ottawa, and continued to do so once he relocated to Colorado, where he played for at least another 20 years. Craig was a lifelong, Washington Redskins fan. He also had a real passion for music throughout his life. Craig is survived by his two children, Jamie (Chris) Moses of Loveland, CO and Josh (Cassie) Capitani of Idaho; his three grandchildren, Alivia and Remmington “Remy” Moses and Kinzlye Capitani; his two brothers, Jack (Connie) Capitani and Randy (Laurie) Capitani, both of Ottawa; aunts, Franny “Francis” Fuller and Sharon Damyen; and his special friend, Marcy. He was proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.
