Constance E. (Baker) Steinman, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2020 with family at her side. Connie was born in Olean, NY and later moved to Weedsport, NY, which is where she met and married her high school sweetheart Robert H. Steinman. She was a graduate of CCBI and employed for over 20 years at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Connie enjoyed camping with family and friends, bowling and playing pitch. She is predeceased by her father, Robert Baker, and husbands, Robert H. Steinman and Ernest Fletcher. Connie is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Baker Lizak, her children, Joseph (Jane) Steinman, Michael (Carol) Steinman, David Steinman, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Abdo and Christine (David) Reale. Her beloved grandchildren, Brian and Justin Steinman, Lauryn, Connor and Kelsey Abdo, Dylan and Tyler Steinman, Adelle, Vincent, Cole and Jackson Reale, and her special furry buddy, Eli. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Saturday February 29th at St. Ann’s Church, 4471 Onondaga Blvd, Syracuse, NY 13219. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
